profile
prA was established in 2008, yet the Architectural contribution by the directors as sole practitioners dates back to 1997.
We are an office that promotes Architectural Design alongside detailed architectural documentation.
Previous experience by both Directors with Development companies ensures that all facets of the Architectural process are delivered to a high standard.
prA provide a commitment to their clients that all projects will be managed by a Director and understand the responsibility that commitments must be fulfilled.
We provide experience in many typologies; Residential, Commercial, Modular and Aged Care have all been delivered from Architectural design through to Construction.
We understand the difference between single clients and that of Developers. Having collectively worked for a leading Melbourne Development firm (Mirvac), prA understand the importance of feasibilities, program and accurate documentation….delivered on time.
The office consists of 2 Directors and staff.
prA promote that it is not large offices that provide large buildings, but rather small teams working together with common goals and a commitment to Architectural Design and the Construction program. Experience in delivering buildings in value of up to $100 million are creditials prA host.
‘Architecture’ is a language spoken in our office and ‘remaining’ proud of prA designs is a core principle. To produce Architecture one must be passionate and embrace creativity – prA ensure this enthusiasm is maintained from commencement through to the completion of construction.
Our office has a ‘we do it all’ approach. Options are offered to the clients for commissions for all facets of the Architectural process and prA accommodate the scope requirements of the clients with a respect for competitive Architectural fees.
prA become so involved in their projects that clients typically become friends and repeat clients. Producing Architecture to be proud of, is typically rewarded with proud owners and successful Developers.
Quality Architecture is what prA create and ultimately produce.

Craig’s extensive experience encompasses a broad range of project types including: Residential, Commercial, Hotels, Modular and Aged Care.
Craig commenced his career in a large Melbourne based Architectural firm and was immediately seconded to a site based role working on a 5 star Hotel in Melbourne. This was to be the role that confirmed Craig’s passion for a more ‘hands on’ approach to the Architecture/Construction industry. The experience gained so early in his career allowed Craig to fully embrace and understand the complexities of on-site construction and the ability to problem solve and resolve detailing issues immediately.
Following Craig’s first foray into the world of Architecture, he proceeded to gain a wealth of experience through employment in some of Melbourne’s leading Architectural practices working across a number of different disciplines whilst continuing site based roles where this level of experience was required.
Craig’s longest serving employment was at Mirvac. Whilst employed at Mirvac, Craig was continually dealing with both the Development and Construction departments. This opportunity has given him further depth in understanding the construction industry whilst strengthening his drive to also become actively involved in quality architectural projects. Craig’s role at Mirvac was Project Architect for Beacon Cove Block C, Tower 4 Docklands and Abingdon Apartments Canterbury.

Registered Architect with the Architects Registration Board of Australia – 1994
Pamela is a director at prA and offers the company 20 years of professional Architectural Experience. From Design, Design Development, Contract Documentation and Contract Administration, all phases of the Architectural process are delivered at a high standard.
Pam’s role at prA is for all facets of the project through to the receipt of a Town Planning Permit or finalisation of Design Development. prA ensure that a Director is allocated on all projects and remains the main point of contact.
Pam believes that Architecture is not only a deliverable but also a means to create and enjoy the importance of space. Spaces are created to satisfy a brief and to ensure the clients ‘sense of space’ is satisfied.
18 years of experience with working alongside builders has meant that Pam understands the importance of buildability and budget. As such, all designs are workshopped with builders and that of feasibilities.
Working on a project team is considered a bonus and not a hindrance.
Pam commenced her career in a small builder’s office, constructing approx 200 homes a year and obtaining knowledge and experience in domestic and mass building construction. During this phase of Pam’s career she designed HIA award winning homes for Best Display Home under $200,000 and HIA Runner up for Display home at $200,000 in 1993.
From here Pam moved to a local Bayside firm and obtained experience in High Rise Residential building in Surfers Paradise/ Queensland. In the next 7 years, Pam worked as a Project Architect for the Mediterranean and The Phoenician. Pam decided to reject an offer at a directorship in order to obtain site experience in High Rise Construction.
Mirvac was thus the next opportunity and with Project Architect and HPA associate credentials, Pam completed projects such as Beacon cove Block C, Piazza building South Yarra, Tower 4 Docklands, Abingdon Apartments Canterbury, Lorne Chalet Apartments Lorne and Moonee Ponds Shopping Centre.
